ACES BLANK CONDORS 3-0

ACES SHUTOUT WRANGLERS 3-0

ALASKA ACQUIRES SCOTT HOWES FROM STOCKTON

ACES DO IT AGAIN WITH 3-2 OVERTIME WIN OVER STEELHEADS

Jerad Stewart’s first goal of his professional career was the latest in what’s become a long, early-season list of Alaska Aces overtime game winners, as the Aces topped the Idaho Steelheads 3-2 on Saturday night from the Sullivan Arena.  The OT win was Alaska’s third in four games this season, and improved their record to 3-1 on the year.  The Aces, completed the sweep of Idaho, who remained at .500 with a 1-1-2 record.  The game was also a milestone for Aces captain, Scott Burt who played in the 700th regular season game of his career.  The Aces will now head [READ MORE]

ACES BEAT STEELHEADS 4-3 IN OVERTIME

Steve Ward felt right at home in his Alaska Aces debut, scoring the overtime game-winner at 3:26 of the extra session, as the Aces beat the Idaho Steelheads 4-3 at the Sullivan Arena on Friday night.  Alaska never trailed in the game, and outshot Idaho 48-26, improving their record to 2-1 on the season.  Both wins have come in OT, courtesy of defensemen making their team debut.  The Aces and Steelheads will rematch Saturday night at 7:15pm.  The Aces will wear special, tie-dye jerseys that will be auctioned off to fans following the game. ACES OPEN SEASON WITH 3-2 OT WIN OVER GRIZZLIES

Daryl Boyle scored 40 seconds into overtime to cap a comeback win as the Alaska Aces beat the Utah Grizzlies 3-2 in overtime on opening night of the 2010-2011 ECHL season.  Brian Swanson had three assists, and Wes Goldie and Bryan Miller each had a goal and an assist to help lead the Aces.  Alaska and Utah will square off again in a Saturday evening rematch at 7:15 to close the weekend series.  Fans in attendance will receive Fred Meyer autograph books. ACES ANNOUNCE SEASON OPENING ROSTER

ACES TRADE FOR ALL-STAR TANGUAY, WARD

The Alaska Aces have acquired the rights to All-Star forward, Maxime Tanguay from the Elmira Jackals in exchange for future considerations, and the rights to defenseman Steve Ward from the Florida Everblades to complete an earlier deal, Head Coach Brent Thompson announced on Tuesday.  Tanguay was an ECHL rookie sensation last season, leading the Toledo Walleye in points.  Ward was one of the top defensemen with the Charlotte Checkers.  The Aces open the 2010-2011 regular season this Friday and Saturday night when they host the Utah Grizzlies.  [READ MORE]

STOCKTON EDGES ALASKA 2-1 IN PRESEASON FINALE

ACES RECEIVE DEFENSEMAN BOYLE FROM PEORIA

Anchorage, AK; October 6, 2010 – The Alaska Aces, proud affiliate of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues and AHL’s Peoria Rivermen, received defenseman Daryl Boyle on assignment, Head Coach Brent Thompson announced on Wednesday.  The moves comes just a day after the Aces received seven additional players from the Rivermen training camp.  Boyle will make his ECHL debut this season with Alaska, but is not expected to be in the lineup for Wednesday night’s pre-season finale. ACES DROP EXHIBITION OPENER 3-1 TO THUNDER
