ACES FALL TO GRIZZLIES 3-2 IN SHOOTOUT

The Aces extended their league-best point streak to seven games, but had their three-game winning streak snapped in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, UT on Saturday night.  The Aces record moved to 13-4-2, and Alaska has earned points in 10 of their last 11 games.  Alaska has claimed 10 of a possible 12 points so far on their eight-game road swing.  The Aces will now head back to Bakersfield on Friday and Saturday to finish their lengthy road trip.  They return to the Sullivan Arena on December 7th.  For [READ MORE]

ACES COME UP BIG LATE IN 4-2 WIN IN UTAH

Wes Goldie broke a tie score with 1:19 to play, scoring in his third straight game, and leading the Alaska Aces over the Utah Grizzlies 4-2 from the Maverik Center on Friday night.  The Aces improved their league-best point streak to six games, and their league-best record to 13-4-1.  Alaska earned points for the ninth time in the last ten games. COURCHAINE OUTSTANDING AGAIN IN 4-1 ACES WIN

Adam Courchaine posted his third impressive start since rejoining the Aces, and this time the Alaska offense came along for the ride.  Courchaine made 41 saves and the Aces had four different scorers in a 4-1 win over the Stockton Thunder on Wednesday night from Stockton Arena.  The Aces improved to 3-0-1 record through half of their eight-game road trip and earned points for the eighth time in the last nine games.   They lifted their record to 12-4-1 on the season with an ECHL-leading 25 points.  The Aces head to Utah to continue their road trip this weekend, follo [READ MORE]

ALASKA WINS OT THRILLER IN BAKERSFIELD 4-3

Garry Nunn completed an Alaska Aces comeback with the game winning goal 1:45 into overtime, as the Aces erased a two-goal, third period deficit to beat the Bakersfield Condors 4-3 on Tuesday night.  The Aces scored three third period goals, and added an overtime winner to give them a 2-0-1 record through three games on the road trip.  Alaska earned points for the seventh time in the last eight games, and improved to 11-4-1 on the season with an ECHL-leading 23 points.  The Aces head to Stockton to continue their road trip on Wednesday night.  They return to the Sullivan [READ MORE]

ACES FALL TO STEELHEADS 1-0 IN OVERTIME

Jerry Kuhn made 30 saves and Chad Klassen broke a scoreless tie 2:56 into overtime with a power play goal, to lead the Idaho Steelheads past the Alaska Aces 1-0 on Saturday night from Boise, ID.  Alaska suffered the loss despite another brilliant performance from Adam Courchaine who stopped 24 of 25 shots.  The Aces earned points for the sixth time in the last seven games, and moved to 10-4-1 on the season.  They are tied with Las Vegas for first place in the ECHL standings.  The Aces now head to California to continue their road trip on Tuesday in Bakersfield and Wednes [READ MORE]

ACES BLOWOUT STEELHEADS 7-2
