ACES FALL 3-2 (OT) TO WRANGLERS IN GAME 3

Eric Lampe scored 3:11 into overtime to lead the Las Vegas Wranglers to a 3-2 overtime win over the Alaska Aces in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals at Sullivan Arena on Sunday night.  Las Vegas leads the best-of-seven series 2-1.  The series stays in Anchorage for the remainder of the week.  Game 4 is Tuesday, and Game 5 is Wednesday.  Both games begin at 7:15pm and tickets are on sale now.  If necessary, Game 6 will be played at Sullivan Arena on Friday.  For more information, please call the Aces at 907.258.ACES or visit them online at [READ MORE]

FALLON, FIRST PERIOD LEAD WRANGLERS PAST ACES 3-0

Joe Fallon made 23 saves for his first shutout of the postseason, and the Las Vegas Wranglers rode a fast start to a 3-0 win in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals at the Orleans Arena on Friday night.  The best-of-seven series is now tied 1-1.  The series now shifts back to Anchorage for the next four games.  Game 3 is Sunday, Game 4 is Tuesday, and Game 5 is Wednesday.  All three games begin at 7:15pm and tickets are on sale now for Games 3 & 4.  Game 5 tickets will be available starting Saturday at noon. CRUTHERS, ACES TAKE GAME ONE IN VEGAS 2-1

Ryan Cruthers scored two goals, including the game-winner with 4:06 to play in regulation to lead the Alaska Aces past the Las Vegas Wranglers 2-1 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals from the Orleans Arena on Thursday night.  The Aces lead the best-of-seven series 1-0.  Game 2 is Friday night in Las Vegas before the series shifts back to Anchorage for the next four games.  Game 3 is Sunday and Game 4 is Tuesday night.  Both games begin at 7:15pm and tickets are on sale now. SCOTT HOWES RETURNS TO ACES LINEUP

The Alaska Aces have been assigned forward Scott Howes from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League, Aces Head Coach Rob Murray announced Tuesday.  Howes, who last year was named the Most Valuable Player of the ECHL Playoffs, appeared in six games for Alaska this year, playing the rest of the season in the AHL.  He will join the Aces in Las Vegas in time for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday night.  The Aces return home for Games 3-6 at Sullivan Arena, beginning Sunday, April 29 at 7:15pm.  Individual Aces playoff tickets for the Weste [READ MORE]

ACES WIN SERIES WITH 4-1 GAME FIVE VICTORY

Dan Kissel had two goals and an assist on Saturday night to spark an Alaska Aces 4-1 win over the Stockton Thunder in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.  The win sent the Aces back to the Conference Finals for the sixth time in franchise history with a 4-1 series victory to eliminate the Thunder.  The Aces will now await the winner of the Las Vegas vs. Idaho series, which Las Vegas currently leads 3-1.  Stay tuned for scheduling and ticket sales announcements for the Conference Finals. ACES ANNOUNCE 2012 PLAYOFF ROSTER
