ACES SWEEP EAGLES WITH 4-2 WIN ON NEW YEAR’S EVE

The Alaska Aces went streaking into the new year with another dominating performance over the Colorado Eagles.  The Aces started quickly and never slowed down in a 4-2 win over the Eagles for their season-high, eighth straight win.  They finish 2012 with a league-best 26-8 record on the season and the longest winning streak in the ECHL.  They also remained perfect at home all-time against the Eagles, improving to 11-0.  The final meeting of the year comes in Loveland, CO in March. GUGGENBERGER, ACES SHUT OUT EAGLES 5-0

Mark Guggenberger made 27 saves for his co-league leading third shutout of the season as the Alaska Aces rolled to a 5-0 win over the Colorado Eagles in the penultimate game of 2012 on Saturday night from Sullivan Arena. Guggenberger got more than enough goal support from the Aces thanks to a four-goal second period. The Aces extended their winning streak to a season-high seven games. ACES TOP EAGLES 4-1 FOR SIXTH STRAIGHT WIN

ALASKA SWEEPS STOCKTON WITH 4-1 WIN

ACES ACQUIRE CLACKSON FROM GWINNETT FOR SINKEWICH
