SAME ACES, NEW LOOK
The Alaska Aces today announced the team has introduced a new design for its primary home and road uniforms, in recognition of its tenth anniversary under the current team name.
The new jerseys take on a sleek and modern look, inspired by the National Hockey League’s shift to a lighter and more contoured design since the 2007-08 season.
The standard black and glacier blue colors remain prominent in the design while the uniform scheme includes a more prominent Aces green trim, inspired by the logo’s tree icon, which has remained constant since the 2003-04 season.
Featured at the top of the jersey is a redesigned neckline in black, white and glacier blue colors, aimed at enhanced comfort. The Aces white and black jerseys also feature glacier blue shoulder and sleeve colors and maintains their alternate logo shoulder patches.
As part of the redesign package, the Aces will also suit up in an enhanced glacier blue third jersey inspired from its classic tie-down and descending “ALASKA” wordmark features.
Newly designed Aces jerseys (white and black) offered in both adult and youth sizes are on sale now at the Aces team store, located at 15th and Gambell inside the Aces office. Fans can also pick up the new jerseys online beginning Saturday at www.alaskaaces.com.
The Aces will open their office for merchandise and ticket purchases on Saturday from 10-2 p.m.
