The Alaska Aces, three-time Kelly Cup champions, today announced its 2013-14 Season Ending Roster of 20 players. The Season Ending Roster offers a list of eligible players to receive a qualifying offer no later than July 1. Season-Ending Rosters may include up to 20 players. ACES ACQUIRE ALL-STAR SEVERYN

The Alaska Aces, three-time Kelly Cup champions, announced today that the team has acquired forward C.J. Severyn from the Orlando Solar Bears to complete a transaction on Sept. 5, 2013 when the Aces acquired future considerations from Orlando in exchange for forward Zach Harrison. Severyn, 25, earned 11 goals, 34 points and 100 penalty minutes in 43 games in 2013-14 with Orlando, also skating in six American Hockey League games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Utica. Gerald Coleman earned his sixth career playoff shutout with 23 saves and the Alaska Aces won their ECHL record tying third Kelly Cup championship with a 4-0 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones before 3,238 fans at U.S. Bank Arena on Monday night.Nick Mazzolini scored the game winning goal in the first period, followed by strikes from Drew MacKenzie, Alex Belzile and Turner Elson. Rob Madore made 35 saves and the Cincinnati Cyclones withstood a rally by the Alaska Aces in the final minutes to escape, 2-1, before a sellout crowd of 6,438 at Sullivan Arena in Game 2 of the Kelly Cup Finals on Saturday.All three goals were posted in the opening period and Gerald Coleman backstopped the Aces with a 21 save effort, marking first Aces regulation loss at home in the entire postseason.
