Rapid City, SD – Stephen Perfetto scored twice, Troy Redmann made 26 saves, and the Alaska Aces won their first road game 4-1 Friday night in Rapid City, South Dakota. Perfetto scored the game’s first goal with a blow-by of a Rush defender, roofing a wrister glove side of goaltender Nic Riopel at 12:56 of the first period. Perfetto struck again early in the second period assisted by Tim Coffman and Joe Perry. ANCHORAGE, AK - After the Aces and Steelheads battled to a 3-3 overtime tie, Idaho claimed the shootout to grab two points in their ECHL game Wednesday night at the Sullivan Arena. Alaska grabbed a 1-0 first-period lead with Dean Chelios knocking the puck toward the net in a goalmouth scrum. It deflected into the net for his first goal of the season. ANCHORAGE, AK- Trevor Ludwig and Josh Holmstrom scored second period goals, and goaltender Josh Robinson made 28 saves to lead the Missouri Mavericks over the Alaska Aces 3-1 Sunday afternoon at the Sullivan Arena. After a scoreless first period, Ludwig took a thread-the-needle backdoor pass from Rocco Carzo and popped the puck past Aces goaltender Troy Redmann (28 saves) at 1:44 of the second period on the power play. Bouyed by 2 first period goals by Josh Holmstrom, the Missouri Mavericks got into the win column with a 3-0 shutout of the Alaska Aces Saturday night at the Sullivan Arena. Holmstrom struck first at 5:48 of the first, batting in a rebound of a Colin Markison shot past Alaska netminder Steven Summerhays. Aces defeat Missouri in exhibition finale

ANCHORAGE, AK- The Alaska Aces, faced with a 1-0 deficit after one period, got goals from Tomasso Traversa in the second and the game-winner from Landon Oslanski in third to down the Missouri Mavericks 3-1 at the Sullivan Arena Tuesday night in the second and final exhibition game between the two clubs. Hayden Trupp added an empty-net goal late in the third for the final margin. Liam Stewart landed in trade with Missouri

ANCHORAGE, AK- The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce the signings of Dylan Hood and Dean Chelios to contracts for the upcoming ECHL season.Head coach Rob Murray made the announcement Thursday.The 25 year old Hood, a native of Osoyoos, BC, Canada, comes to Alaska with 3 years of ECHL experience under his belt. He started his professional career in 2012 with the Colorado Eagles. The 5' 9" 185 pound center also skated parts of two seasons with Ontario.
