photo by Skip Hickey/Alaska Aces ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - Martin Lefebvre scored his first goal of season in the second period, and it proved to be the game winner as the Cincinnati Cyclones upended the Alaska Aces 2-1 Friday night at the Sullivan Arena.The loss kept the Aces from increasing their hold on fourth place in the Mountain Division. Coming into the game, Alaska had a 4-point lead over Utah and 5 over Missouri. Both the Grizzlies and Mavericks lost Friday. [READ MORE]

Cyclones twist Aces 2-1 Wednesday night

photo by Skip Hickey/Alaska Aces   ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Eric Knodel’s second period goal held up as the game winner as the Cincinnati Cyclones nipped the Alaska Aces 2-1 Wednesday at the Sullivan Arena. The game was Cincinnati’s first in Alaska since the 2014 Kelly Cup finals. The two teams played one game last season, in Cincinnati, with the Cyclones taking a 3-1 win.
