FT. WAYNE, INDIANA – The Fort Wayne Komets got enough goal scoring and defense to cruise past the Alaska Aces 5-2 Wednesday night at the Allen County War Memorial Arena. The race for the Kelly Cup playoffs in the Mountain Division tightened further as Utah beat Rapid City and Missouri lost at Allen. Aces sign former Neumann University forward Jory Mullin

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - The Alaska Aces have signed former Neumann University forward Jory Mullin.Aces Head Coach and President of Hockey Operations Rob Murray made the announcement Friday. Mullin, 24, just finished up his college eligibility with the Knights. He was Neumann's leading scorer this past season with 26 goals and 18 assists for 44 points, good for sixth in NCAA Division 3. The Aces will take on the Rapid City Rush Friday and Saturday nights at 7:15pm and Sunday at 3:05pm at the Sullivan Arena.   [READ MORE]

Cyclones twist Aces 2-1 Wednesday night

photo by Skip Hickey/Alaska Aces   ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Eric Knodel’s second period goal held up as the game winner as the Cincinnati Cyclones nipped the Alaska Aces 2-1 Wednesday at the Sullivan Arena. The game was Cincinnati’s first in Alaska since the 2014 Kelly Cup finals. The two teams played one game last season, in Cincinnati, with the Cyclones taking a 3-1 win.
