Aces settle for 6-2 road trip as Gulls rally for 5-3 win
SAN DIEGO – Alaska center Vladimir Novak scored twice but the Aces surrendered two shorthanded goals in a span of 29 seconds midway through the second period to lose their grip on the lead, and the game, in an eventual 5-3 loss to the San Diego Gulls in front of 5,862 at the ipayone center.
