Forward - 6-0" / 230 lbs.
Shoots: Right
Born: 05/22/1980 - Anchorage, Alaska USA

Player Notes
Lee broke his foot last season but still managed six goals and 136 PIM in his second year in an Aces jersey. He also earned his first promotion to the American Hockey League, racking up 29 minutes in penalties in seven games for the Utah Grizzlies. Upon returning to Alaska at the end of the AHL regular season, he scored the eventual game-winning goal in the fifth and deciding game against Bakersfield in the opening round of the 2005 Kelly Cup playoffs and added a goal in Game Three of Alaska’s eventual conference finals loss to Trenton. Lee was acquired from the Reading Royals (who had traded for him in the summer of 2003) in exchange for the rights to winger Jason Boily and defenseman Corey LeClair. An Anchorage native, Lee played for current coach Davis Payne when the two were in Pee Dee during the 2001-02 season. Lee was a member of the U.S. junior national team in 1997-98 before moving on to play three years in the Western Hockey League, mostly for Tri-City, where he racked up 23 goals and 375 penalty minutes in 142 games for the Americans. He finished up his junior career with Kootenay before turning pro.
