2004-05:

Signed PTO with Manitoba (AHL) on 1/11/05, though he did not appear in a game. Acquired in a trade with Las Vegas for Jordan Cameron and future considerations 3/22. Arrived in Alaska at just 2 despite playing for a club under .500 much of the season and scoring more than half of his points (22 of 39) on the power play. Assisted on four goals in his second game for the Aces, a 6-3 win at Fresno April 2. Scored in 3-2 loss to Bakersfield in Game 3. Had goal and assist in 4-3 OT loss to Condors in Game 4. Scored in 4-2 win at Long Beach in Game 2 of the West Finals 4/23.

During the 2002-03 season, he earned a trip to the ECHL All-Star Game and first-team all-ECHL recognition by accumulating 65 points on 19 goals and 46 assists for the Cincinnati Cyclones, whom he led to Game 7 of the 2003 Kelly Cup semi-finals. He also led all ECHL defensemen in goals that year and finished second in points and assists. He also placed fourth among ECHL blueliners with 56 points (10g-46a) for the Toledo Storm during the 2000-01 season, his second as a pro. In 29 playoff games as a professional, Gaucher has 15 points on five goals and 10 assists to go along with 30 PIM. He played juniors for his hometown Saskatoon Blades in the WHL, scoring 29 goals and 58 assists over his last two seasons between 1997-99.
